Nibelheim

Nibelheim is a quaint little village that sits at the foot of the Nibel Mountains. There are vicious rumors that Nibelheim was actually burnt to the ground by Sephiroth five years ago, and that the current Nibelheim is a recreation by the Shinra, populated by actors. This is not true. Nibelheim is what it always was, and the great war hero Sephiroth mysteriously disappeared during a battle.

Getting There

Nibelheim is located between Rocket Town to the north, and Cosmo Canyon to the south.

Points of Interest

Shinra Mansion - A magnificent landmark, this mansion served as the residence and laboratory for some of Shinra's greatest scientists, including Professor Gast, Professor Hojo, and Lucrecia.

Mt. Nibel/Mt. Nibel Reactor - This craggy, treacherous mountain is one of the greatest peaks in the world. It is also the location of the Mt. Nibel Mako Reactor, which for some reason was nicknamed "Jenova's Reactor" by the engineers who built it. If you plan to climb Mt. Nibel, we suggest that you get in touch with an experienced guide from Nibelheim. We must also add that the Mt. Nibel Reactor, like all fully-functional mako reactors, is closed to the general public.

Shopping

General Store - This store stocks basic curatives and not much else. Not really a hot spot for all you shoppers out there.

Lodging and Accomodations

Nibelheim Inn - A quiet country inn, the manager here will give you a room for the night for the very reasonable rate of 100 gil.
