Icicle Inn

The town of Icicle Inn, as well as the hotel it's named after, has long been the destination of choice for winter sports enthusiasts, particularly snowboarders and mountain climbers. Come visit this winter wonderland!

Getting There

Icicle Inn is situated in a high-altitude area near the Western edge of the Northern Continent, and thus can't be easily reached by sea; air travel and/or special chocobos are recommended.

Points of Interest

Great Glacier - This glacier is one of the Northern Continent's most famous natural formations. Very few have attempted to climb its icy face. If you are planning a mountain climbing trip, be sure to wear warm clothes.

Professor Gast's House - The great Shinra scientist Professor Gast once lived here with an Ancient that he was studying. Unfortunately, he died about twenty years ago, and the Ancient has since disappeared. His house and laboratory remain untouched as a silent monument to his greatness.

Shopping

Weapons Shop - There are some excellent weapons that can be purchased here, as well as other useful items.

Restaurants and Bars

Icicle Inn Bar - Found in the basement of the Icicle Inn, here's where the locals go to warm up and mingle. This bar is also a popular hangout for visiting snowboarders wishing to shred the slopes.

Lodging and Accomodations

Icicle Inn - This longtime establishment is a cosy getaway in the frigid north. Considering that it's the only inn on the Northern Continent, the rates are fairly reasonable.
