Travel Advisories: Latest Updates

• Midgar - A number of terrorist activities have occurred within the past few days. Visitors are advised to stay clear of the mako reactors at the city perimeter whenever possible. Please contact Shinra authorities if you notice anything suspicious.

• Kalm region - Dangerous monsters have been sighted in the Midgar Swamp. Catching a chocobo or renting one from the nearby Chocobo Farm is highly recommended for travelers wishing to cross the swamp.

• Junon region - Fighting at the Condor Reactor between Shinra forces and local rebels has been on the rise. We do not recommend sightseeing visits to this area for the time being.

• Junon region - Wutaiese materia thieves have been sighted in forests to the east of Junon. Confrontations against them can be avoided by sticking to the open fields, but in the event that travellers find themselves in these forests, we advise them to wear protective gear—especially water rings—and have weapons handy.

• Costa del Sol - Shinra authorities are on the lookout for a wayward employee who visited the town on business, but has decided to take off on an impromptu vacation instead. He is a male, measuring 5'5", and works in a managerial position in Midgar.

• Corel region - Some of the railroad tracks that stretch between the North Corel Mako Reactor and North Corel itself have been reported to be condemned. To prevent an accident, at this time we are advising visitors to take an alternate route across the river south of Costa del Sol.

• Cosmo Canyon region - Wutaiese materia thieves have been sighted in the forests between Gongaga and Cosmo Canyon. In the event that traveling through the forests is unavoidable, we recommend that travelers not fall prey to these thieves' notorious trickery.

• Cosmo Canyon region - The area is in the midst of a heat wave. Be forewarned that visitors who wish to travel the area by means of a mako-powered vehicle should be alert for signs of overheating, so as to avoid breaking down.

• Nibelheim - Recent visitors to this town have reported being disturbed by the presence of strange beings in black cloaks. We would like to assure visitors that we are aware of the situation and have since determined that these beings are harmless.

• Rocket Town - Many have inquired about the status of the launch of the Shinra No. 26. We regret to inform potential visitors that the rescheduling os this launch has been postponed indefinitely.

• Wutai - As this is the home turf of the Wutaiese materia thieves, we advise visitors to be extremely cautious, and carry only as much materia as you require.

• Mideel region - Seismic activity has been on the rise lately. Visitors should be prepared in the event of an earthquake or eruption.
